Annual Meetings of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Inter-American Investment Corporation

DFI’s Michelle Friedman, Senior Manager, is attending the 4-day 2014 Annual Meetings of the Inter-American Development Bank and Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB) from March 27-30 in Bahia, Brazil. The event convenes the IDB’s Board of Governors, Ministers of Finance, Presidents of central banks and other high level authorities. Select private sector companies, associations and financial institutions participate by invitation.
The Meetings convene actors to discuss the IDB’s macroeconomic assessment of the region and explore new development frontiers, covering topics such as education and health services, investments in sustainable and efficient energy, and greater collaboration with the private sector. The 2015 Annual Meetings will take place in Buson, Korea.
